Students will use any standard measurement tool that you choose to measure to the nearest inch or centimeter. Then, they will each receive a headband – they can wear their math craft!
Students will compare 3 digit numbers by cutting and pasting the correct greater than, less than, or equal to symbol.
Students will match written fraction amounts to partitioned circles on a colorful pumpkin pie.
Demonstrate knowledge of skip counting by 2’s, 3’s and 5’s by filling in the missing numbers on colorful feathers.
Students will color and sort pictures of diagraphs, and create colorful Thanksgiving turkey to demonstrate their knowledge.
Decorate a cornucopia with Thanksgiving symbols and identify the number of syllables in each.
Create a fun corn craft by demonstrating knowledge of nouns – in particular, sorting words between person, place or thing.
Students will read and search for common sight words for additional review. Then, they will assemble a fun turkey craft with their findings.
Crate Mayflower ships while practicing money handling skills! Use coins to match set amounts on the ship sails.
Students will decide if shapes are divided up into equal or unequal parts and put together a fun Thanksgiving pie.
Practice adding using 3 numbers by solving equations and then making a Pilgrim hat to show student work.
Some people LOVE watching football on Thanksgiving! Decide if equations are true or false, and then sort on this fun football cutout.
