Teachers Pay Teachers Meet Up
How in the world is it December
already?! I don’t know about you, but this school year feels like it’s on fast
forward. Recently, we had the opportunity to press the pause button and enjoy
some holiday cheer with our fellow TPT-ers in the Western New York area.
Back in October we sent out this
email blast to some of our TPT friends:
Before we knew it, we had a group of 18 fellow TPT-ers
interested in our meet up!
We gathered in the private banquet room and enjoyed some
delicious Italian cuisine while catching up with each other. This was our view
at the dinner table…

While everyone was going around and introducing themselves, this was us…
Taking notes for next year’s holiday meet up! Yes, that is a
receipt we took notes on. We swapped our school supply-filled purses for our
clutches on this day. #teacherfail
After we all indulged in dinner, we took our annual holiday
photo.
Such a wonderful community of TPT authors we have here in
Western New York!
As each teacher author left with full stomachs and grateful
hearts, they each grabbed a swag bag to complete their night! Each attendee
brought a small favor for everyone. At the end of the night everyone went home
with 18 different favors! And let’s just say that these favors were the best
yet. Everyone outdid themselves! Each bag was filled with soap, Starbucks
coffee, hot chocolate kits, small bottles of wine, cardstock (a teacher
score!), computer decals, TPT cups…the list goes on!
We are truly grateful to be a part of such a supportive,
collaborative group of teacher authors. When we started our journey, we had no idea that Teachers Pay Teachers would provide us with so
many amazing opportunities!
